Her husband, Hussein Murray, was killed at their Michigan home in October 2024, and she was bound with duct tape by two men pretending to be DTE Energy workers. She recalled the men coming to her door late at night on October 10 and then returning on the 11th. She identified those two men as Joshua Zuazo and Carlos Jose Hernandez.
