Alyssa and Blake Bates were arrested in 2024 after their dog reportedly attacked and killed their 6-month-old child, Royal. Her sister said that she will never recover from the pain she felt that day and that Smith deserves the 3-year sentence for what happened. Her sister also stated that Smith is a very selfish person, and this whole incident could have been avoided if they had gotten rid of their pitbull, Kilo.
