She’s charged with second-degree murder in the death of her boyfriend, Jonathon Willette, who was found decapitated. Michaels had previously withdrawn a guilty plea, insisting she wasn’t the one who carried out the beheading. Prosecutors say she admitted to attacking Willette with a wooden stick but never confessed to the decapitation itself. If convicted, Michaels faces life in prison.
