A judge heard from the state and Busfield's defense on releasing him from jail. A witness who worked with the director on "The Cleaning Lady" took the stand and discussed working with him around kids. The co-worker did not believe that Busfield inappropriately touched his accusers during that show. The judge ruled that the actor could be released from jail.
