On Tuesday, the sentencing hearing for Austin Thompson began. He has pleaded guilty to 10 charges for shooting and killing five people in his North Carolina neighborhood in October 2022. One of the victims' husbands took the stand to describe what he saw when he came back home and found his wife shot on their front porch. He also got emotional, saying Austin’s actions that day broke him, and he no longer likes to go anywhere.
