On Friday, Veronica Demelo, a forensic evidence specialist with the Honolulu Police Department, testified in court. She presented the shirt and shorts reportedly worn by Dr. Gerhardt Konig on the day he allegedly tried to kill his wife. Prosecutors say Konig pushed her toward a cliff, attempted to inject her with a syringe, and struck her repeatedly with a lava rock. The alleged incident occurred on a Hawaii hiking trail in March 2025.
