6:35:44Now PlayingKelsey Fitzsimmons, a former North Andover police officer, is accused of assault after allegedly pointing a gun at a fellow officer who was serving a restraining order at her Massachusetts home. She has pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon, saying she intended to harm herself, not the officer, before she was shot in the chest and seriously injured. Leading up to the incident, her fiancé alleges she had been violent and struggling with mental health issues, but her defense claims those accusations are false and part of an effort to “smear” her reputation.
