as posted by the channelJoseph Kernin, with the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Office, took the stand on Friday in the case against Josie Dikeman. He responded to the home on February 10, the day before 6-year-old Alexavier Pedrin died, to do a welfare check. Kernin detailed seeing a man who looked like Derek Pedrin, the child’s father, in the home that night. Derek had just been arrested, had a no-contact order out, and was not supposed to be in the residence. Josie is currently on trial for the death of the child.
