They claim that Josie “forever silenced” 6-year-old Alexavier Pedrin because of a “brutal assault and intentional drugging.” An autopsy revealed that Alex died from blunt force trauma, with a sedative also contributing. The state went on to say that Josie is the only person who had the ability and opportunity to stage the scene.
