YouTube Description
as posted by the channelA long time ago, I promised my friend I would build him a coffee table for his living room.
For the past 8 years, he has been using an old steamer trunk while faithfully waiting for my promise to materialize.
The table is made from reclaimed Walnut and Poplar. The wood is warped, stained, nicked, and scratched, much like many of us. Yet, with care and attention, it can be worked to something very useful, valuable, and attractive.
The table is lit by WS2812 RGB LEDs, driven by a Teensy 3.2, an Arduino-based chip made by engineering whiz Paul Stoffregen over at pjrc.com.
This is my first major woodworking project and required over 100 hours to complete. I am looking forward to future projects being a little easier thanks to all of the experience I've had here.
