"Pure Pique & Revenge" earns 5Pointz Whitewasher $6.75 Million Judgment

Gerald Wolkoff welcomed aerosol artists to his building, until he didn't. He whitewashed their artwork, and poorly, earning a lawsuit under the Visual Artists Rights Act. In a rare award of MAXIMUM statutory damages, now confirmed by the Appeals court, the injured artists are due $6.75 MILLION dollars.
