Charlie Adelson has been convicted of hiring hitmen to kill his ex-brother-in-law Dan Markel. Donna Adelson, Charlie's mother, has been arrested on identical charges.
Markel was married to Wendi Adelson, Donna's daugher and Charlie's sister. Markel and Wendi Adelson had two children. Markel, an FSU law professor and Harvard Law graduate, was murdered in 2014 in the garage of his home in Tallahassee.
