as posted by the channelCome with me to college! Tonight I’ll be broadcasting live as I teach a class on Law and Social Media at an unnamed university. I’m going to weave in all the cases we’ve been talking about, like Alex Murdaugh, Karen Read, Michelle Troconis and Bryan Kohberger.
I am so excited to do this talk because I have been thinking about this topic for months. I am convinced that social media is radically transforming justice as we know it, and unless lawyers and judges recognize and adapt to the changes, we are putting our justice system in peril.
We’re starting a little early — 6:45 pm Eastern. Please be gracious with me on the start time, because I don’t know exactly how this will all work. But I’m really grateful to have an opportunity to speak and excited to be allowed to bring you with me.
(The university has asked to remain unnamed. Not sure the exact reason, but I’m just going to tell myself they are worried about paparazzi. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣).
