At a hearing in federal court today, Blake Lively got just what she wanted — and I think she’ll regret it.

Blake Lively played the female lead in It Ends With Us, alongside Justin Baldoni, who was both the producer and male lead. Despite its massive commercial success, grossing $351 million worldwide on a $25 million budget, tensions ran high behind the scenes.

During a break in filming, Blake demanded several changes, including that she not be shown nudes of women or hear anything about Baldoni’s former addiction to inappropriate photos. Lively said she would not return to production unless her conditions were met. The drama continued after the film's release, when Baldoni was absent from grouped promotional events.

In December, Blake filed a sexual harassment complaint. A month later, she sued him and the New York Times, claiming he had harassed her and then hired a publicity agent to run a smear campaign against her. Baldoni countered with a lawsuit of his own, saying her claims were false and driven by her frustration with not being allowed to take over the production of the movie.

Both cases are now consolidated in federal court.
