Just when you thought the James Craig murder case couldn’t get any stranger—his defense attorney is arrested for allegedly setting his own house on fire. That’s right. The week before trial. Between new charges against Craig and chaos in his legal team, this case is spiraling fast.

Did Colorado dentist James Craig poison his wife of 23 years? Prosecutors say yes, and that he lied on an application to buy poison, claiming it was part of an experiment he was trying for his dental practice. In fact, they say he bought multiple types of poison, and then watched his wife slowly die as doctors remained mystified about why.
