A Hawaiian cliffside hike turned into a fight for survival — and now a jury has to decide who was the attacker.

Prosecutors say Hawaiian doctor Gerhardt Konig lured his wife, Arielle, onto a remote trail and tried to kill her after learning about an emotional affair. They claim he brought a syringe, attacked her, and ultimately used a rock when his plan failed.

Konig tells a completely different story. He says Arielle attacked him first — and that he only used the rock in self-defense.
