But it was also a time of great change, social revolution, equality marches, and of course to looming threat of nuclear annihilation.
But it wasn't all bad news, somewhere deep within the mirky depths of various countries' military budgets a very smokey man, who probably wore too many hats, decided that what a country with a poverty rating that would inspire modern-day Uganda to send food parcels too, was a hyper-expensive spy satellite so they could compete in the technological espionage dick waving contest with America.
