Thousands of people across the world are putting their bins out in ball gowns to spread some ‘silliness and fun’ during the coronavirus crisis.

Angie Emrys-Jones created the group ‘Put Your Bins Out In Your Ball Gown’ after an award ceremony she was going to was cancelled.

Thousands of hilarious women have united to provide a bit of escapism from current affairs in the form of a Facebook group.

From pegging out the laundry in a ball gown - to running on the treadmill in a wedding dress  – these women won’t be caught in casual wear during the isolation period.

Creator of the group ‘Put Your Bins Out In Your Ball Gown’ Angie Emrys-Jones, was inspired after a cancelled award ceremony meant she was quite literally all dressed up with no place to go.

Angie from Threemilestone near Truro said: “We are trying to make it that our children memories of this time are one of silliness and fun rather than the doom and gloom that’s out there.

“We would rather our children remember us in ballgowns and tiaras rather than Hazmat suits and face masks.”
