YouTube Description
as posted by the channelBoris Johnston told MPs on Wednesday that the 2 metre rule was "constantly under review."
This was during Prime Minister's Questions, where Ian Blackford, leader of the Scottish National Party, read out SAGE's advice that being exposed to the virus for 6 seconds at 1 metre is the same as being exposed for 1 minute at 2 metres.
"That is a significant increase in risk," he said.
Chief Scientific Advisor Sir Patrick Vallance later added that the 2 metre rule "is not a scientific rule" but a "risk based assessment" that factors in "distance," "time" and "mitigating factors."
