The Supreme Court blocked the government's flagship Rwanda plan on Wednesday morning, dealing a bitter blow to Rishi Sunak as judges ruled it is unlawful.
Rishi Sunak has said he remains committed to stopping small boat crossings, and vowed to keep working with Rwanda in a phone call with the country's president, Paul Kagame. Continuing, he said the government is "making progress" on immigration.
