Lindsay Hoyle caused uproar in the Commons by breaking precedent and allowing a Labour amendment to an SNP ceasefire motion on opposition day, when the Government also had its own motion tabled.

Stephen Flynn, the SNP's Westminster leader, has called his position 'intolerable.' Mr Hoyle's apology clearly wasn't washing with him - though Conservative MP and Leader of the House Penny Mordaunt did accept.
