Ever since Lee Anderson was suspended from the Tory party, ministers have been asked about his accusation that Sadiq Khan is being 'controlled by Islamists'.

Specifically, they're being asked if his comments were 'Islamophobic'. Ministers have so far been quite averse to using the word, however.

Sam texts in to ask why.

On the Cross Question panel from left to right: Adam Hawksbee (Deputy director of the Onward think-tank), Ash Sarkar (Contributing Editor of Novara Media), Iain Dale (LBC host), Baroness Jenny Chapman (Labour peer), Lee Rowley (Conservative Housing Minister).
