Hester - the Conservative Party's biggest donor who has given the party £10 million - allegedly said that Ms Abbott makes you "want to hate all black women", The Guardian reported this week.
Hester also allegedly said Ms Abbott "should be shot", prompting a furious reaction from politicians.
Rishi Sunak, the prime minister, eventually labelled the remarks racist and wrong, but refused to say whether the Tory party would be giving back any of the £10 million they had received from Hester.
