Over the weekend, Israeli allies including the UK helped shoot down Iranian drones that threatened the country. This has sparked renewed debate as to whether Britain should help shoot down Russian drones raining down on Ukraine.
Asked about this perceived inconsistency by Nick Ferrari, foreign secretary David Cameron justified it by saying it could lead to an 'escalation' with Russia if a NATO country directly participated in action against Putin. This excuse doesn't wash with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba, who describes it as 'simply invalid.'
To discuss this, Shelagh Fogarty is joined by Ukrainian MP Lesia Vasylenko (00:49) and foreign policy expert Elisabeth Braw (03:30).
