The Home Secretary James Cleverly has "gone off on one" after being quizzed about another potential Tory leadership race taking place if the Conservatives perform badly at next week's local elections.

Speaking on the potential of letters of no confidence going in if the locals don't go well, Cleverly said: "If you jump out of an aeroplane, please make sure you have a parachute, don't say, no, we'll work it out on the way down."

To discuss this and some jokes by Mr Cleverly - including one about Rishi Sunak's height - Shelagh Fogarty is joined by the Financial Times' George Parker.
