This comes as a soaked Sunak goes for a summer poll as he announces a General Election will take place on July 4th.
Mr Sunak declared it "the moment for Britain to choose its future" and said the election will take place at time "when the world is more dangerous than it has been since the end of the Cold War".

'It's difficult for MPs to understand, and no one understands why he has done it now... there was every possibility that something could happen between now and then, and right now we are 20 points behind in the polls'.
