8:56Now PlayingJames O'Brien speaks to Sir Anthony Seldon, political commentator and contemporary historian - who is the author of the new book 'Truss at 10 - How not to be Prime Minister'.
Liz Truss served a record 49 days as Prime Minister, a time in the job eclipsed by Sir Keir Starmer this week. Sir Anthony says 'she went about growth the wrong way and still thinks she is right and we are all responsible' and that 'she saw enemies everywhere'.
Sir Anthony concludes saying he has sympathy for her because she believed in the right thing, which was growth and areas left behind, 'but wanting to make life better for people is not good enough when the delivery is catastrophic.'
