'I don't think it could have gone much better for Harris than it did', Lewis tells James.
'She needed to regain momentum and I think she might have done that last night.'
Commenting on what appeared to be a hot-tempered Donald Trump throughout the debate, Lewis tells James that: 'It was a living embodiment of the problems that would come with another Trump presidency'.
This comes after Donald Trump made the extraordinary claim that migrants were eating Americans' pets during a hot-tempered US presidential debate with Kamala Harris on Tuesday night.
James also asks Lewis about the significance of Taylor Swift endorsing Kamala Harris, with her interventionary Instagram post following the debate.
James concludes by saying: 'I suppose you could say the bad blood between Taylor Swift and Donald Trump would be beyond Kamela Harris wildest dreams, indeed she may consider the intervention gorgeous, but Donald Trump remains an anti-hero in the minds of many Americans, so the situation remains somewhat delicate.'
