During the debate, Labour’s Paul Richards insists to Iain Dale and Conservative campaigner, Albie Amankona that the government 'wouldn’t fear' Kemi Badenoch as Leader of the Opposition.
It comes as Tom Tugendhat, James Cleverly, Robert Jenrick and Kemi Badenoch try to woo members in conference speeches.
In a departure from tradition, the four candidates concluded the conference by delivering their speeches to the party faithful, instead of the outgoing Conservative leader, Rishi Sunak.
After being scrutinised by delegates and the media for several days, the four aspiring leaders will be narrowed down to two in a vote by Tory MPs next week.
Conservative members will pick the new leader from the final two in a final vote, with the result announced on 2 November.
