On her book, which she completed the week the recent far-right riots emerged, Baroness Warsi's says that 'the quickest way to dehumanise people is to make them Muslim in this country'.
Given the current circumstances, Baroness Warsi also argues that depictions of Muslims in the UK is what 'informs the Western perception of conflict in the Middle East.'
'It's the power of authority figures and their rhetoric that leads to this demonisation of Muslims.'
Baroness Warsi says: 'I hope my book is the start of an important conversation about where this country is going next. Bring on the debate, I want to have debate. Let's start this conversation.'
