10:13Now PlayingFormer Defence Secretary Tobias Ellwood joined Matthew Wright to discuss the Conservative leadership race.
The former Tory MP had a word of caution for the final two candidates standing, urging Robert Jenrick and Kemi Badenoch to 'listen carefully to the plea' of One Nation Tories, or face being in opposition for a 'very long time'.
He referred to the political 'extremes' of Jeremy Corbyn as an example for why the contenders should refrain from 'moving to the right', reminding listeners that the ex-Labour leader 'was never going to win' the election in 2019.
Matthew Wright was also joined by Siobhan Aarons, the Tory Reform Group National Chairwoman, to discuss divisions within the party.
