US officials have criticised the ICC following its issuance of arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, citing alleged war crimes in Gaza.
British lawyer and ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan initially requested the warrants in May this year.
On Thursday, a three-judge panel unanimously approved the issuance of the warrants.
