"Her title 'Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls' is a perversion of the English language. It's clear whose side she is on".
Elon Musk's reply to this, of, "She deserves to be in prison", began his series of online posts this year in which he took aim at her and Keir Starmer, after Labour blocked a grooming gangs probe into the PM's time as the CPS head.
James O'Brien said: "Liz Truss not only fails to condemn the attacks on Jess Phillips, but actually commits them."
He added that he 'would welcome' Liz Truss and jess Phillips to come on his programme and compare records on what they have done to safeguard women and girls.
"I am supremely confident...that it would look like the time David Davis turned up in the EU negotiations to talk about Brexit, when the other side had filing cabinets of detail and he had a smile", he said.
"This I think might be the worst thing I've seen from a British politician in all the years that I've been doing this job, including Boris Johnson", he went on.
"I can't believe my eyes...a former British PM actively encouraging attacks on a serving British politician for declining a request for an inquiry that was declined by the Tories in 2022".
