YouTube Description
as posted by the channelJames O'Brien returns with the latest analysis, as the US Defence Secretary said Ukraine should abandon hope of regaining territory from Russia.
As the third anniversary of Putin's invasion fast approaches, James assesses whether this is a form of "appeasement", adding that "Putin banks on apathy, ambivalence and incompetence from Western leaders".
James believes that this latest statement from the US suggests that "Donald Trump doesn’t want to be the leader of the free world in terms of responsibility", citing the way he has spoken about Canada and Greenland since taking office.
The US President had said multiple times prior to his election that he would withhold funding to Ukraine in an effort to stop the war, while the UK has maintained its support.
