The US President called Zelenskyy a "dictator", and said he owed America billions of dollars, adding he only wants to keep the "gravy train" of funding and arms going.
Zelenskyy responded, saying that Trump is "living in a disinformation space" created by Russia.
James O'Brien proceeded to say that Donald Trump is saying "lie, after lie, after lie", and cited JD Vance's comments a few years ago in wondering whether he would turn out to be "America's Hitler".
James pointed out that Trump's own Vice President is now "telling lies about the UK on an industrial scale, with some political and media figures amplifying his lies".
"What do you do when the leader of the 'free world' is in the pocket of the man who hates the 'free world'...a puppet and a stooge in propaganda terms for the greatest enemy the free world has?" James asked.
This comes as the US meets with Russian officials Sergey Lavrov and Yuri Ushakov for peace talks in Saudi Arabia, and now Keir Starmer and Emmanuel Macron have been invited to the White House for further talks.
Keir Starmer has come out in support of the "democratically elected" Ukrainian leader, and said previously that he would be "ready" to put British troops on the ground to secure peace in Ukraine after a peace deal is reached.
Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that any NATO troops being deployed to the region would be viewed as a "direct threat", and demanded during talks in Riyadh that NATO would scrap the plan of giving Ukraine membership status - a promise made at the Bucharest Summit in 2008.
