In conversation with LBC's Iain Dale, Michael Sheridan predicts that Xi Jinping’s reaction would be anything but erratic. “I can confidently predict that he won’t be posting anything on social media..."
While the move by Trump – a 125% tariff hike – is unprecedented, China has been here before. Sheridan said: “China will not panic. They will keep calm and carry on because they believe they can hold out and come out on top in the long run.”
