The former leader of Reform UK in Wales has admitted making pro-Russian statements in the European Parliament for cash. Nathan Gill, 52, of Anglesey, pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey to eight counts of bribery.

Gill was originally elected as a UKIP MEP, joining the Brexit Party in 2019. He became the leader of Reform UK Wales in 2021.

James O'Brien reacts to Nigel Farage's previous comments about Gill and Zia Ysuf's remarks distancing Reform from the case. James also speaks to Lizzie Dearden, UK reporter for the New York Times, who was in court when Gill appeared.
