12:41Now PlayingA small boat migrant with a terrifying AK-47 face tattoo has been jailed for five years after he threatened to kill Reform UK leader Nigel Farage. Fayaz Khan made the threat between October 12 and 15 last year in a TikTok clip that Farage described as ‘chilling’.
Khan was sentenced to five years on Tuesday for making threats to kill, for which he was found guilty following a trial last week, and for entering the UK illegally.
The migrant was heard shouting “you wanna be prime minster and you f*** my life” at Mr Farage as he was removed from the dock after the sentencing.
Fayez had previously been living in Sweden for 9 years with a long criminal record, so now that he has been sentenced, Tom Swarbrick asks the question, ‘What should happen to this man now?’.
Barrister Paula Rhone-Adrien joins to help answer Tom's question, but they end up debating. Paula is 'confused' by Reform's stance on 'threats of violence', particularly after platforming Lucy Connolly at their conference, whereas Tom can’t understand how Fayez can be allowed to stay in the UK.
