The visa scheme, which came into effect in September of last year, offers three-year temporary residence to citizens from 47 countries, including the UK.
Lewis Goodall questions Hutchinson on why he is so keen to promote a country which is currently under a ‘murderous regime’ where ‘children have been stolen from a neighbouring state’.
Asked whether he is funded by the Russian government, Hutchinson claims he hasn’t 'received a bob'.
Yet Lewis isn't convinced by the proposed plan, pressing the businessman on whether gay people should be encouraged to live in a country where they're 'not exactly friendly' and are at risk of reviving abuse.
As the interview concludes, Lewis Goodall leaves us with his parting thoughts on Phillip Hutchinson: 'With patriots like that, who needs a country...’
