16:04Now PlayingLabour MP and former Royal Air Force officer Calvin Bailey offers his perspective on the war in Iran and Starmer’s continuing resistance to join Israel and the U.S in an attack.
Bailey served for 24 years and flew into Iraq with invading forces in 2003.
He tells James O’Brien that his four years served alongside U.S. soldiers is the ‘proudest years’ of his life.
Due to this, he rubbishes Trump’s claims that the ‘special relationship’ is over, saying it’s not a ‘big crisis’ in the overall relationship.
Touching on Farage’s criticism of Starmer and seemingly ‘close relationship’ with President Trump, Bailey condemns the Reform leader for ‘lobbying against British interest.’
He furthers this by saying his behaviour is ‘deeply unpatriotic’.
