Iain Dale speaks with Lebanese political analyst, Ronnie Chatah, to discuss the latest on the Israeli strikes on Lebanon.

Israeli strikes on Lebanon have killed at least 89 people today as Benjamin Netanyahu’s government launched its largest wave of strikes on the country yet.

Israel’s defence minister said the attacks were part of a “surprise strike” on the pro-Iranian group Hezbollah.

It comes as the fate of the two-week ceasefire agreed on by Iran and the US last night looks increasingly in doubt as bombs continue to rain down on the Middle East.

Chatah tells Iain that neither the US nor Israel can 'eradicate' Hezbollah, as the terror group are a 'mirror reflection of Iran'.

To get rid of them completely, there would need to be regime change in Iran, with attempts 'failing' so far.
