Donald Trump has threatened to 'rip up' the longstanding US-UK trade deal if Starmer still refuses to get involved in the war in Iran.
The President previously criticised the PM for his refusal to allow the US to use UK bases for initial offensive strikes against Iran.
Whilst admitting that the war in Iran has 'made the world more dangerous', Jeremy Hunt thinks Starmer should have acted quicker in lending a hand to the US initially.
Touching on Starmer's recent performance at PMQs, the former chancellor thinks he should stop with the 'partisan nonsense' and focus on making the UK's defence stronger in the face of this 'international crisis'.
