YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThis is a long video of our trip to Ecuador, the amazon rainforest / jungle, and a special place called Mandari Panga. This is in Yasuni National Park. This is filmed with a Canon G7X mk ii and a Panasonic Lumix GH4 (slow motion and timelapses). We started out in Billings, then to Denver, then to Houston where we trekked around, then to Quito, Ecuador. From Quito we hopped on a bus to Coca, Ecuador. We stayed in Coca one night, and then took a truck to Yasuni and then hopped on a boat on the Tiputini River. After a few hours on the Tiputini River, we arrived at Mandari Panga, which is run by the Kichwa people. While there we hiked in the amazon jungle and rainforest, bird watched and animal watched, went fishing, relaxed, and generally enjoyed the Ecuadorian Amazon. We saw all kinds of monkeys / primates, toucans, and walking sticks / stick insects, etc. all kinds of weird animals and plants. we also found river turtle eggs and saved them! We went to see Mrs. Damiana Santamaría and her house, and got to experience chicha which is a local drink. got to use a blowgun and blow darts, and other fun stuff. we also saw how the locals make chocolate,
