The latest scare tactic, titled National Security Presidential Memo-7 (NSPM-7), claims to direct four cabinet members to investigate and disrupt "domestic terrorist organizations" aligned with a series of undefined boogeymen like antifa, anti-capitalism, and anti-Christianity. In an interview, former Acting Assistant Attorney General Mary McCord makes clear that the memo gives Trump no real power, and Trump appears to be using it to scare and intimidate people and political entities based on speech and association.
