The hosts walk through how DHS Secretary Kristi Noem publicly called the incident "an attempted murder of federal law enforcement" before any investigation, how the Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney for Minnesota ultimately asked a judge to dismiss all charges with prejudice after "newly discovered evidence" proved materially inconsistent with the officers' sworn testimony, and how a third man at the scene was shipped to a Texas detention facility — apparently to prevent him from testifying against the agents. Both ICE officers are now on administrative leave facing a federal perjury investigation, with ICE Director Todd Lyons stating that "lying under oath is a serious federal offense" and that violations "will not be tolerated."
