The Justice Department announced plans to drop Donald Trump's lawsuit against the IRS over the leak of his tax records "in exchange for" a $1.7 billion "Anti-Weaponization" fund to enrich his allies. First reported late last week by ABC, the Trump Justice Department formally announced the plan on Monday, seeking to strip a federal judge of jurisdiction to oversee funds that could be used to compensate Jan. 6 insurrectionists and others who committed crimes for Trump. Also on Monday, 93 Congress members asked a federal judge to stop that maneuver. Former New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin, who wrote the brief, discusses the development with Adam Klasfeld on All Rise News.
