I was revived from the Galahs greeting in the morning.
We quickly stopped to pet a prickly pear tree(I was the only one doing the petting, hence the pricking).
We were warmly and harmlessly approached not too intimately by a curious emu.
The Stockman Longreach Museum welcomed us next. Taking advantage of the time available, we soaked up as much information of interest as was accessible.
Finally, we raced the sun to Winton trying to arrive before we were helplessly left desolate avoiding kangaroo collisions on the forsaken caliginous and unending road.
