Under the Health and Social Care Act 2008, a clinician is legally required to gain the consent of the patient before they conduct any treatment, test or examination. Patients are able to request that intimate procedures are carried out by someone of the same sex.

But the NHS have revealed that there is no requirement for clinicians to disclose their gender identity, and women who've requested a same-sex clinician may be treated by trans staff.

Of course, this wouldn't be a problem if the trans staff were all super hot and convincing. But will they be?
