Grace Campbell is a comedian who's found a niche bragging about abortions and alcoholism and horrible sex with horrible people, appealing to the growing constituent of women who identify as a fat mess full of white wine and antidepressants and birth control.
A podcast she did with a trans-friend (that's someone who identifies as being friends with Grace Campbell) rose to the surface this week because they slammed JK Rowling, feminists and biological reality.
They smeared the TERFs who won the Supreme Court battle to define "woman" as "actual woman, not man with a rainbow badge". They say the TERFs are "ugly" and “If that's the hair up there, think what it's like down there”. Grace and her friend are in a glass house and they're trebucheting boulders. Are there mirrors in Grace's house? She looks like the Bo Selecta Scary Spice.
Bizarrely, Grace actually looks like she's more putting on a fake approximation of a woman than the transgender is.
They also castigate JK Rowling for funding the court battle, saying should have put her money into opening a women's refuge.
But JK Rowling did put her money into opening a women's refuge. Because Edinburgh's existing refuge was run by a man in a frock who called rape victims "bigoted", JK Rowling opened a women's refuge in Edinburgh in 2022 called "Beira's Place" (not to be confused with "Beria's Place, which would be just as predatory as the original). Now women who have been victims of domestic violence or whatever and don't want to be lectured by a man in a frock can go to a cock-free refuge.
Is this the last gasp of the gender woo-woo fannies? Or are there completely parallel cultures, some untroubled by reality?
