YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe old institutions are being eroded and colonized by new media personalities. Is this apocalyptic or is it the path to a more hopeful future? Ryan and Adam talk with Sam Drzymala about this and more today. Sam is an expert on political new media, having founded and run organizations in that space such as Progressive Victory and, most recently At Dawn Campaigns.
The trio agree that streamers in particular and new media in general can and have channeled people into positive political action, but wrestle with the difficult questions of whether that energy can be built into a lasting, stable foundation.
When elected officials and members of the government are picking their actions based on how their online audiences will react, there can be few discussions closer to the heart of contemporary politics than this one.
